My friends and I spent a total of five days at Glenomra House on the front and back end of our stay in Ireland. I have to say that Mary is a most delightful and helpful host. The house is in a really convenient location just 10 minutes to the center of town. If I were to return to the area I would not hesitate to book with Mary again.
Glenomra was wonderful. Mary is a perfect host, Gracious, accommodating and fun!
We had a very good stay in this B + B on our trip around Ireland, one of the best.. A very big and bright room with all things you need in the bathroom, a very nice and friendly host, a very good breakfast with many things to select, we felt very well in this Bed + Breakfast. Parking available at the property. To the towncenter only 10 minutes by foot. I highly recommend it.
If you are travelling from Shannon Airport, as you leave take the N19, then take the M18 north (Galway). approx 12 km later take Exit 12 - Ennis, stay on N85 for another 2.5km - you will approach the Clareabbey roundabout, take the 3rd exit, R 458 to Town Centre - follow this road for another km, passing 2 smaller roundabouts en route. After the last roundabout you will see a set of traffic lights ahead, and Glenomra is situated on the right hand side of the road before The Apple Green Petrol Station - always feel free to give me a call if you get loose your way, or roll down the window of your car and ask for directions to St Flannans College, a large grey stone building just directly across the road from Glenomra.
